Introducing the Hydra-Lock. The Hydra-Lock will restrict the access of an assailant into a classroom by holding the arms of a hydraulic door return together. The Hydra-Lock will provide the vital extra moments needed for school staff to create interior barricades to protect their students. Additionally, it provides the extra time needed for law enforcement to respond and arrive on scene and neutralize the threat during these types of critical incidents.
The Hydra-Lock was designed by a Police Officer who is a SWAT Team Leader with a major metropolitan Sheriff’s Office in California. The Hydra-Lock is the result of his efforts to keep his own children safe while they are at school.
